72 guests' feedbackI did not enjoy any of this. There is a shared kitchen, the weather was bad and this meant that we could not use the braai area (also a shared socializing area). We literally couldn't do anything and had to sit around for hours. Made us crazy, so we waved instead. It wasn't for us.
The host was very welcoming. She went out of her way to make our stay as pleasant and memorable as possible. We had a great time with the owner and the other guests. The room was spacious and homely. Enjoyed every moment.
Lovely little place to stay!
An awful lot of leaks. Julie is pleasant and welcoming. Second home for guests. Beds are very comfortable and swimming pool is very nice.
It was a great stay, we enjoyed our time and warm reception from the owners.
It was certainly different as the name implies. We were only there for two nights but we enjoyed our stay very much.
The hosts were all amazing, the place is incredibly relaxing with a lot of wildlife right there. Rooms were incredible, breakfast was the best, hearing the lions at night was an incredible experience. If you need a good break and time to relax, this is the place to go to.
It was a lovely time to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
There is nothing but nature, wind, silence and animal sounds. The roaring lions with a nice fire. Sit back and enjoy a leisurely breakfast by the pool. Lovely house with incredible character.

Lovely, peaceful stay, refreshing swimming pool. Watched giraffes walk past while enjoying our morning coffee. Host very friendly and helpful. We were grateful to bring our doggies who also loved the stay.
Our bed stood on bricks. We could not lock the door because the frame is loose. Wiring is exposed and unsafe. Also not warned about loadshedding in advance. Had to go look for light. Wanted to check out then and there, but couldn't locate owner to open gate. Physically and not by phone either. The owner has no idea about this business. Breakfast was made by gardener.
Nice stay. Believe the future upgrade, as told, is going to make a big difference. Nice place for a family, enough sleeping space.

Host is a pleasant and friendly person. Accommodation is acceptable and tidy. Nice and quiet on the farm.
My personal opinion is that the house is too busy, meaning, lots of artwork on the walls. Seriously, it speaks to artistic people. Some of the artworks may be objectionable to some people.
We will definitely be back. We and our little girl enjoyed it tremendously. The dogs, the pool, the wildlife, the tranquility. Also, it is really close to Pretoria and so the road there and back is not too long. Thank you Philip.
No receptionist or owner available on arrival. Lady who had to assign the rooms had no idea about the reservations or which rooms we should get. At times of loadshedding very dark. Breakfast prepared by person who does not know the kitchen and coffee had to be made yourself. Bed sleeps terribly uncomfortable, creaks every time you turn and with every turn you wake up from the sounds.
Enjoyed my stay and had a wonderful weekend spent.
Warm welcome by Phillipus and Kaitlin. A very neat bedroom in an impressive house with many antiques and beautiful painting and glass artwork awaited us. A tasty breakfast was served and we experienced absolute hospitality. Would love to visit again, but for a few days!

There we were received very kindly, the load shedding was only a problem but it is not their fault.
Hosts really friendly, but our room at that back was too basic. Cleanliness good, but facilities were like a backpackers. We left some items behind which the host very kindly brought to us - 20 km's, that is very kind. Much appreciated.
Eclectic and unique accommodation.
We were only there one night, but wish we had stayed longer! Very peaceful, with a homely feeling. Can go for a nice walk and hear the lions and foxes in the evening! It's a stone's throw from a nice restaurant and in the morning you get a nice breakfast. Only negative point for me is all the crockery in the house! Our host's mother was an artist and did beautiful glass work. Had to keep an eye on our 3 year old!
Total freedom of movement to walk and view the wildlife and bird life. Host was extremely professional and a people person. Visited and barbecued together. Game drives were very good. Very good value for money. Breakfast was some of the very best we have ever eaten.
We were at a wedding and only used the accommodation for the night and even had to leave early before breakfast so can only give feedback about our room and general impression. We were contacted early on by the owner to make sure everything was on track and were warmly welcomed. Our room was in the main farmhouse but was very private, spacious, tidy and very nicely decorated. Quiet farm atmosphere and very safe environment.
The host was not home for the entire weekend. Two other persons vouched for him, they only arrived on Friday evening after 21:00. The bed in our room was very old and cracked terribly. Feeling as if the bed is going to collapse at any moment. The toilet seat was broken. The shower is small and the curtains cling to you. The breakfast that was served was very nice. Furthermore, we really enjoyed the view and silence.

The artwork was a bonus and you could sense the artistic sensibility that was the heartbeat of the house on so many levels. Phillipus and Lourens were very warm. The staff was very friendly. My room was beautiful and clean. I would definitely be happy to return. Different rooms with themes, mine was nautical and I could share with my teenage son. We barbecued and used the kitchen as well. Walked a lot and enjoyed nature. So calm.

Guest house is furnished with some great artworks made by the owners. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfy. Kitchen and braai facilities are excellent. Lots of game in the conservancy surrounding the property, as well as being a short drive from Dinokeng. Owners were very friendly and welcoming, would definitely come back.

A great place. Since we arrived, we felt at home and we enjoyed our weekend. Even our teenagers enjoyed it. They were so helpful when we had car troubles. Would definitely go back, it's so peaceful there. You feel so relaxed and the food was great, especially the lasagne.

Oom Jakals and Maxi were the best company ever and made us feel part of the family. We really enjoyed Jakkals and Maxi's hospitality and friendly chats! We did not feel unsafe or unwelcome for one moment. Jakkals involved us in everything, from braai to dessert after us. Very seldom to you arrive at a guest house and find that it exceeds your expectation Its Anners does just that. The art and decor on display in the common areas and rooms have a wow factor. Maxi is so talented in her paintings and glass work and her personality oozes throughout the house. The stoep area is very relaxing and colourful and a lot of conversations and laughter happens under that roof. At night you can hear the Lions roaring and see thousands of stars. The pool is salt water (perfect) and very long to enjoy a proper swim, very refreshing. It is well maintained and attention to small detail make this a perfect getaway. Our room was better than the photo's and had all the fine touches to make it just perfect. The management (owners) are attentive and it feels like a made new friends. Such lovely friendly and genuine caring people and the staff very helpful and pleasant. Location is ideal for nature and animal lovers, and there is safe on-site parking. The dinner was delicious, much nicer than the breakfast as we didn't have to many options. The dining table on the stoep area is delightful overlooking the garden and seeing Zebra and Giraffes walking in the distance is just so nice to see. Its dog friendly but sadly some of the guest dogs were not that friendly with my little girl and this did spoil her stay. I will certainly return again and again and again and will let all my friends know about these beautiful people at Its Anners.
A wonderful, peaceful weekend away where my husband and I could charge our batteries and now have a chance for the week. Had the most delicious breakfast with a nice hot cup of coffee and then not to mention the delicious lasagna in the evening and then the previous night's fun playing pool and eating pizza. Just suggest maybe TVs in the rooms and a small fridge.

Its Others was in value exactly what the name says. In a good way. We were very warmly and kindly welcomed. The directions are just not very good, but I also understand why it's done that way... to stay 'proper' to the name. The guest house is very clean and 'warm'. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The pool for the summer is a winner.
My two girlfriends and I stayed in the Water room and there was everything we needed. The breakfast that was included was very nice and the game drive also an excellent experience.

Thanks to Jakkals and Maxi for your hospitality. It was really nice, we were only there one night, but would love to go back to visit a little longer. They even babysat our 6 month old rottweiler, which we really appreciated. We could go to the wedding with peace of mind. The glass that Maxi blows is something special, it fills the whole place, as well as her decor that is in the rooms and outside the porch, is really something special.
We had a great time at Its Others. I would definitely recommend it to any person. The additional effort made for the guests makes the difference. The food served was top quality. The 'game drive' inside Dinokeng was exciting and created the atmosphere for the rest of the evening. Hope everyone who goes there enjoys the surroundings as we did.

Making your guests feel like they're at home when they're on holiday isn't easy, but Maxi, Jakkals and their son did exactly that. The farm and environment is so beautiful and peaceful. The guesthouse is hypnotising. Maxi's beautiful artworks are exhibited throughout the house and are definitely something to experience. Thanks for the conversations, hospitality and the GREAT food. The game drive was also special. Hearing lions roar right before you is definitely something to experience!
Amazing Hosts and gourmet food. It's an unusual guesthouse, with never a dull moment. Whether it's the art on the walls or wild animals roaming. Listening to the majestic roaring of Lions 700 m away gives you goosebumps. Our family thoroughly enjoyed spending time together, going on walks, game drives and just lazing around a fire.
